CHARLENE ANN DERESH, 62, died peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in Wichita, Kan. He was born on April 3, 1950, in Huntington. "She cared for and loved her family deeply." Throughout her life she also showed her love for animals with numerous dogs, cats, goats and even ostriches. She made a point to return to school later in life, graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, in 1978. She believed that education was paramount, and instilled that in her two sons. She later watched her son, Tim, graduate from the University of Southern California, in 1995, and her son, Stacy, graduate from her alma mater, in 1997. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. And she fondly remembered her time working for Dan Quayle on his campaign trail to the United States Senate. She leaves behind her husband of 18 years, Robert Deresh; two sons, Stacy Alan Edgar and Timothy LeDavid Edgar; two daughters-in-law, Angela Michelle Edgar and Saundra Leigh Edgar; grandsons, Zachary Alan Edgar and Darrin John Alan Edgar; granddaughter, Juliet Evelyn Ann Edgar; great-grandson, Conner LeDavid Edgar; brothers, Charles Coble, Joseph Coble and Monty Coble; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Alexander LeDavid Edgar; sister, Monet Beaty; mother, Berniece Coble; and father, George Coble.
